Guided Tour: Geymüllerschlössel—Restoration of Clocks and Musical Mechanisms
with Nils Unger, clock restorer
In 1965, the MAK Geymüllerschlössel became a branch of the MAK. At the same time the building was acquired, the MAK also came into possession of Franz Sobek’s significant collection—160 old Viennese clocks of exquisite quality dating from 1760 to the second half of the 19th century. Clock restorer Nils Unger cares for this important clock collection and offers insights into his work.
Participation requires an ticket for the guided tour as well as a admission ticket (available in the next steps).
